Brenden Yockel
My name is Brenden Yockel, and I currently live in Norman, Oklahoma. I grew up in a military family and moved frequently throughout my childhood. I graduated from MacArthur High School in Lawton, Oklahoma, and after high school, I enlisted in the United States Army.
After completing my military service, I returned to the Oklahoma City area, where I met Matt Frymire. I began working with Matt as a laborer while attending college at Oklahoma State University. Over time, I worked my way up, gaining hands-on experience and learning every phase of the concrete process. Nearly ten years later, I’m still in the industry and continue to build on that foundation.
Throughout my career, I’ve traveled across the country performing specialized concrete work for pit installations. No matter the location, we consistently faced the same challenges: limited access to concrete suppliers as non-local contractors and excessive short-load fees.
We saw a better way to serve customers, especially in more populated areas—and that’s how Batch Brothers was born. Our goal is to provide short loads of concrete at a more affordable price, without requiring an account, and to make quality materials accessible to everyone.
Matt Frymire
My name is Matt Frymire, and I’m from the Oklahoma City area. I attended Midwest City High School and completed a few years of college at Rose State College.
I began working in the concrete industry at age 17 in 1993 as a laborer for Cherry Scott and Son Concrete, Inc. Over the years, I worked my way up through the ranks—form carpenter, setup crew leader, machine operator, finisher, and eventually foreman.
In 2004, I was given the opportunity to purchase equipment and the client list from Cherry Scott. I took that opportunity and founded Frymire Concrete, Inc. Since then, the business has been successful and has provided a great life for me and my family.
As we expanded and completed projects in different parts of the country, we noticed a common challenge: purchasing small amounts of concrete was often difficult without having an account with a ready-mix plant. Even when concrete was available, many plants required a 4–5 yard minimum, which could cost close to $1,000 when only 2 yards were needed. This is exactly why Batch Brothers had to be developed in the OKC area!
Batch Brothers, it’s simple. Whether you need a small amount of concrete, flowable fill, sand, or gravel, we can rent you a mixing cart trailer, load it with your desired material, and help you get it to your job site using your own pickup.
We’re proud to offer a practical, affordable solution for contractors and homeowners alike.

Hi, I’m Isaiah. I’ve been working with Frymire Concrete since my junior year of high school, and although I’m still growing in the concrete industry, I’m excited to be part of the Batch Brothers expansion.
You’ll see me on site helping customers pick up their ready-mix carts and making sure your job runs smoothly from start to finish.
